We tested it for you: the biggest kanelbulle in the world!

As you probably know, in Sweden cinnamon rolls (Kannelbullar to be precise in Swedish) are an institution. So when we learned, during our visit to Gothenburgthat the biggest kanelbullar (cinnamon rolls) of the world were being sold just a stone's throw from our hotel, we didn't hesitate for a second: we absolutely had to try it out!

That's how we found ourselves at the Husaren café, in the Haga district. The atmosphere is truly Swedish, with a slightly retro charm that won us over immediately.

Naturally, the café proudly displays its enormous cinnamon buns in the window, attracting a never-ending stream of fans (be careful if you're on the terrace, as you're liable to be disturbed by camera-hungry tourists!)

When you arrive, you can choose between a kanelbulle - which we recommend for one to four people, depending on your appetite (ours lasted two days!) - or just one half if you're afraid you won't be able to eat it all. Because, yes, it's better not to come hungry!

Admittedly, it's not the best roll we've tasted, a little dry and not very tasty for our taste. However, if you're looking for something authentic to share or takeawayYou won't be disappointed.

In conclusion, this experience has more to do with theoriginality and decadence than culinary. However, if you'd like to try a tasting, don't hesitate to share your feedback with us!
