For the filling:

Preparation Steps: Easy Cinnamon Rolls

Step 1: Prepare the dough

Start by hydrating the yeast in the warm milk for 5 minutes. Then add the other ingredients and knead until you get a smooth and supple dough (it should be slightly sticky and elastic). Let rise in a warm place until the dough doubles in volume, between 30 minutes and 2 hours, depending on your yeast.

Step 2: Spread and garnish

Divide the dough into two portions and roll each piece into a rectangle. Prepare the filling by mixing the softened butter, sugar and cinnamon. Spread this mixture evenly over the rectangles of dough.

Step 3: Roll and Cut

Roll each rectangle lengthwise, then cut into 2-3cm pieces to form your kanelbullar. Arrange them on a baking tray, making sure to space them out. Let them rest again until they puff up.

Step 4: Cooking

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10 to 20 minutes, until golden brown but still soft.

Step 5: Taste

Enjoy them straight out of the oven for an explosion of flavors! 😋

Gourmet tip: Our little extra that makes all the difference!

Toss your cinnamon rolls in a hot pan with a knob of butter for a few moments or gently grill them over a campfire. This little twist adds a touch of crunch and an irresistible smoky flavor.
